Spanish
6th and 7th grade students have Spanish class for one hour twice a week for the entire school year. In this class, Spanish language and grammar is taught through the context of cultural units to strengthen students' skills in speaking, listening, writing, and reading the language with a progression from basic to more intermediate and advanced Spanish. 8th grade students elect to take a yearlong course in Spanish or may choose between different elective course options in the arts each term.
