Ms. Nilam Trivedi

Nilam Trivedi graduated from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and began working in the Baltimore City Public School system as part of Teach for America. At the same time, she earned her Masters in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University. Nilam taught Biology, Physics and Environmental Science at Samuel L. Banks High School. After this, she went on the work for the Charles Darwin Foundation in the Galapagos Islands. For nine months she focused on environmental education, community development and assisting scientists in their field research. Nilam came down south after this and worked for one year teaching Biology within Atlanta Public Schools. She is very excited because this is her first year with Atlanta Charter Middle school and is looking forward being a part of the family! Ms. Trivedi lives in midtown and will be starting her very first balcony garden, with the hopes of bringing those skills to the school. In her free time, Ms. Trivedi loves to cook, do yoga, rock climb, camp, and salsa (or basically anything that is outdoors!).
