Kati Gardner

Kati Gardner teaches Performing Arts here at Atlanta Charter Middle School. She is an award winning actor, being named Best Actress by the AJC and Best Stage Presence by Atlanta Magazine in 2003. She received her BA in Theater Arts from Brenau University in Gainesville Georgia. Kati has both taught and acted professionally with the National Theater Workshop for the Handicapped (New York City), Not Merely Players, The Alliance Theater (Atlanta) and the Gainesville Theatre Alliance (Gainesville, GA). When she is not at school, Kati enjoys reading and writing Young Adult novels, watching So You Think You Can Dance and watching her husband annoy their cats. She hopes to pursue a graduate degree in either library science or creative writing in the next few years.
