Michael Benjamin, MA Program Coordinator
Mr. Benjamin is a youth professional with more than 15 years experience helping youth and families. His passion is to be a "willing participant" in the healthy youth development process of young people and a resource to their parents. For the last 15 years, Mr. Benjamin developed and coordinated youth programs including summer camps, retreats and group mentoring programs to teach youth life skills and has worked in youth development in both the non-profit and government sectors including faith, social service, and juvenile justice. As Program Coordinator of the G-CAPP-Carrera Program, Mr. Benjamin provides leadership, guidance and supervision to a diverse team of 15 staff. He manages the day-to-day activities ensuring that standards of performance and expectations of the Carrera model are understood and met. Mr. Benjamin enjoys visualizing the success and growth that the G-CAPP-Carrera model produces in the lives of the young people. Mr. Benjamin is a husband and the father of three beautiful children.
